That means immediately go to your L2 & Last_Sale Screen:
1.) Has it dropped at all?
2.) Check to make sure if possible of 10dayavg
3.) Immediately put on Last Sale [check how quickly it's ticking, size of sale]
4.) How many MM's? I don't play a pick with more than 4, 5 at the most on the ASK.
Best of all possible floats? approx. 20mil
Find out the 52wk high/low?
5.) Open up the public message board for ABCD, scan headers only, look for the number of posts, who's playing, are they pro's or pumpers, look for certain verbiage, i.e. rumor/news/RM/inactive/look for recent quotes, how many, how many pages per play on the year, no chatter?, etc... but try and stay away from hype.
In my estimation over the years the less chatter the better at least at first!
A lot of times news is right there so you don't have to open another window.. but always make sure you look at the date on the news. In the past a few have mistakenly put up old news, mistake/or not, and there were serious problems.
6.) Also have a window open to find the abcd thread, is there one, last post, has it been a year, check intro message board for latest A/S float.
7.) Check the all floats-no-comment-board by e-ore, this is a must! I forget sometimes.
We don't play .0001 to .0009's here, we don't play or try not to play anything above 500mil outstanding. There are niche players that do so and do very well at it, i.e. RULiquid / i_like_bb_stocks, others.
While all the above is going on you should be going back to the L2 & last_sale screen every chance you get viewing how MM's are changing if at all, how fast it's moving, vol per-tick surge, speed, has it dropped, has it stalled, etc.
Get to know the folks who put out the facts on IHUB this takes time. It's not always the ones with the higher people-marks.

Hint: If you see me post Signals_UP, then I post again within a few minutes you may need to focus on areas you feel more important.
Most of all, do not bet the farm on anything you do decide to buy! It doesn't work that way!
I'm not going to give away the entire farm but that's a start.

I also keep a window open, which logs all stocks I currently follow/open, it changes.
