lrt65 Exacly. I mentioned that long time ago.
I brought the fact that Verizon spent in 2003 12 billion on cell phone towers and they still can't cover whole us.

Now Verizon, Cingular, Tmobile, etc, etc would spend let's say 2-3 billion in licencing fees for renting strats and not only they save 10 billion but also increase their customer base by huge % by covering whole country.

add to that national or global internet, hdtv, trucking industry, wheather monitoring, real time survailance for home defence and for millitary. Applications for strats are non-ending. Also Strats cost a fraction of satellies and perform better. Time will show. Can you say next GE.
