I hope 6 weeks of data is adequate.
I'm not seeing your pattern....or any other pattern for that matter. There are 2 weeks when the short volume is very low (18%). In one of them the stock is up on moderately strong volume and in the other the stock is down on very strong volume.
I'm still happy with my assessment, even more confident after this, that for analysis purposes these short numbers are pretty much useless. It's no wonder FINRA hasn't provided a concise explanation for them....there isn't one that justifies their existence. That said, the more data the merrier, right?
