aranger: My post was just to describe possible arbitration related clauses that law firms may try to insert in contracts. I doubt whether that particular clause was in the IDCC/Nokia contract. In any event it appears to be in conflict with ICC rules which are being followed.

As the person you spoke to explained, ICC ADR rules are different than their arbitration rules. The following is the reference to ICC’s Guide to ADR

She seemed sure there would be no advance notice, and characterized the ADR proceeding as a mediation, rather than an arbitration.
However, the more MSCHERE and O'Dog keep digging up bones about "Complex" cases, the more I'm hoping she's wrong.
