"low expectations" is a very subjective term. Most people would think that buying stock for $2 a share and expecting them to reach a pps of between $100 and $300 within 3 years is pretty much an unrealistically "high expectation". I expect that kind of return and I expected that when I bought P shares way back in October and November of 2008. I hoped for $1000 a share and I still hope for that. So I am really quite an optimistic person. I am not too worried by day to day fluctuations in pps and I think good things are coming our way.
