I like it Ken, first have an outline of thoughts submitted by posters to form a general letter.

and while we are at it...what's with this "200 strong" crap you keep going on about? Last I checked there are like 54,608+ members of iHub alone. Are you SUGGesting that there are only 200 active posters here? And what about SI? I don't understand what this "200" number is other than it is midway between 199 & 201.

You do a deal with trump and you will get screwed. You'll get your exposure allright, and he'll get all the money.

Donald trump won't care about a letter. you've got to come up with a prospectus for investors (big and small). All they care about is what will be their return on their money and how is their initial investment going to be secured...

Ken.. The only way Trump would
help would be if he thinks
he could make big buck from
it.
Maybe it would be best
to just think about it
a couple days.
I have no idea if its
a good for this or not.
Just be careful

Since a few people asked me to comment, I will.

I don't have a problem with Ken pursuing Trump...or anybody else for that matter. Can't blame Ken for trying to 'go big or go home' (as long as you don't lose focus of your original goal).

It's all a matter of the bottomline. If it doesn't work out on paper, neither I (nor Ken) would be interested.

As far as I go, I'm neck deep in developing an online brokerage designed around this community. This weekend, a lot of progress was made. My focus and goal is to deliver you guys as close to what you want as possible..and change it as we go....that's what I'm doing. Not bothering with too much of the 'vision' or 'letters' stuff at this point, more focused on the underlying product.

As far as marketing/partnering goes outside of IH/SI/me, I'm letting Ken handle most of that until I can free myself up to be more involved in that aspect....or until something 'happens' with the few angles he's pursuing.

Continuing to develop the news site tonight.

OK 125 post later, the subject is...

We are writing a letter to Donald Trump and I would like to see the letter written here on-line by the posters to this thread.

Why would the idea of greatly diluting the potential ownership of your company appeal to anyone here?....Watching a 1% ownership turn into .0001% just for the sake of publicity as opposed to growing a company through earnings sounds exactly like CMKX's strategy.

I'll start with the first paragraph:

Dear Mr. Trump,

Hi!! First, let me say that I think you are totally awesome. B-) Next, let me introduce myself. My name is Ken Scordo and you probably remember me from my audition tape for The Apprentice, season III. Don't worry, no hard feelings for not picking me! B-)

I am writing to invite you to participate in an opportunity of a lifetime. Not too long ago my buddies and I were chillin' at a super classy suite at the Bellagio (totally comped and one phone call was all it took, that's how money we are), getting ready to order some very expensive prime rib and french champagne, and putting all the suave moves on some hot court reporters we met up with B-), when we came up with this suh-weet idea about starting up an online brokerage.

Suddenly it hit me.....we've got to get the Donald in on this!!! B-)

real rough, needs to be filled in, proofed and expanded on. I think accompanying the letter with the aliases of 200 on-line posters who will focus their passions for an agreed piece will also be a plus..

Dear Mr. Trump.

My name is Kenneth Scordo I am 42 year old 20 year stockbroker who worked in Manhattan during the first half of my career and spent the last half of my career working and living here in Orange County California.

About 5 months ago we began the process of creating a NASD stockbrokerage firm. The process of creating a brokerage is a highly regulated process with takes multiple licenses and years of practical experiences with those licenses. The entire process takes six months and we are on-schedule to be open for operation end of this April. The firms name is “OC Securities” (OCS).

What is unique about this opportunity is OCS partnered with a 22 year old “wiz” kid name Matt Brown. Matt Brown owns 2 of the largest 4 financial posting sites on the Internet. Matt created “Investors Hub” (IHUB) 6 years ago when he was 16 years old and bought “Silicon Investor ”(SI) 3 years ago.

You may ask what is Silicon Investor and Investors Hub and who thinks these sites are good places to market a on-line brokerage?

What’s going to be unique about this Broker/Dealer is we intend you take full advantage of the synergies of thousands of writers and their daily passion to write on finance in a way which has never been done to date. The answer as to why you would wish to be involved in such a deal is simple. You made billions in real estate, the best game in town. The second best game in town is Wall Street and quite possibly the Internet and I believe you have little to no exposure to these areas. Why a deal with a start-up like OC? Because our structuring will allow you the best deal in town and a communal on-line deal like the one we are discussing on-line will give you the attention of a deal where hundreds of Joe Schmos can reap the rewards along with us.

Marketing is everything in business today. AmeriTrade and E-trade have multibillion dollar capitalizations and do little more than take trades, Matt, OCS and 200 IHUBers have the window and the passion to make this work fun,

I have a business opportunity which I would like to offer you.
