Are you seriously advocating that someone 'new to investing' should consider risking their money on penny stocks?
Shame on you.
New investors should first build a broad base of index and other mutual funds. Then, once their financial security is assured, all are welcome to gamble on the pinkies as much as they want.
Some may make money, some won't, but gambling is not investing, in either case.
