Grrr! This is probably what happened .... should I wait or risk turning off and having to fix Windows because of incomplete DAT updates?

i have the same problem, i think it is that my computer is trying to install updates that arent fully downloaded or something because when it hangs for ages and ages all i can do is turn it off at mains or what even and one i have done that it corrupts windows and i have to then repair it through the disk

im going to just leave it and see how long it takes to turn off if it ever does, otherwise every time i shut down i will have to repair windows!
