How can you compare someone saying the S&P will hit 1450 in the near future to saying WNBD has some positives? Talk about apples and oranges...man you flew by the oranges and went right for the kumquats!

Well you kind of just helped me make my point.

S&P you are dealing with already mature companies. There are no wild projections. You have companies that are trying to keep reinventing the wheel because they have pretty much exhausted their potential. This is NOT a big board stock....yet.

How many economists would ever even talk about a penny stock? I have yet to hear any discussed on CNBC.

I definitely agree with you that it is essential to bring the product to market and profit from it. Where we differ is I feel they are doing that right now. It takes time. I invest on all the "if's." That is what investors do. I will "trade" a big board stock, but I prefer to invest on a new company that is projecting the possibilities pending a breakthrough. More stores and higher revenue per quarter brings a smile to my face. Now, slowly introduce another product on your newly created distribution channels and let the revenue continue to increase.

He forgot to mention Progressive with potential for Woolworth Limited a top 20 global retailer that's outside North America.

We had little in 2009 relative to these national accounts outside Canada. 2010 had inroads (good starts). Good starts can lead to further growth if nurtured and maintained (think doing well with Lancaster, Lowes, Progressive, etc.) and will likely be active with Duane Reade as well in January 2011.

So starting with little, can lead to more, which eventually after more growth can lead to something much bigger.

It can be boring watching the day to day, week to week. Heaven forbid the 60 minute or 5 minute at this juncture lol; but if someone was to look a little wider one can see them implementing and executing a business plan.

Will it lead ultimately to where 'most' want it to go? Potentially, it's speculative, especially dealing with National retailers (in any country let alone USA). But there is dedication and hard work being done every day in my opinion pushing it forwards (not always at speed we would like of course, and that can frustrate folks, but at this juncture, something very positive could happen at any moment imo).

If you spend enough time fishing in a rather large pond, you are liable to catch something bigger and better then you have before...many like to get lucky on first cast..but it's the enduring ones dedicated and preparatory that usually have the best chances.

I like our chances that something is going to land on the line and get reeled in that draws attention. Some aren't familiar with certain species we have been landing, but I think 2011 points to significant household names (especially in USA). All imo.
