I like your posts and most of what you say is true, but the history of this property with Newmont, another Fortune 500 company and Timberline (and its location) all looking at it suggest to me that there is more than just a salted mine here... and I do think Timberline's reasons for abandoning the claim are being mischaracterized...
The one thing you, and NoDummy, have not discussed, because you just don't know, is the likelihood that the huge rise in gold prices may change the merits of the project that the others abandoned... even if Timberline could find no low lying fruit at $800/oz, what about at $1400/oz...?
Mark Twain was a great writer and a wonderful wit... but even a liar may find it in his interest to tell the truth sometimes... and even the Maffia have legitimate business interests... Right now, the claim is valued at a couple million because it is being actively promoted... What will it be worth if the Canadians remove the trading restrictions and the geologist puts together a proper document summarizing the past findings... and they are supportive of a possible project at $1400/oz?
