Umm, hate to tell you this now but any files on your local C drive will be erased if it's a factory reset. If you moved the files to a different hard drive then you are okay.
Factory reset can't go around certain files unless it backs them up first but I don't see that on personal computers personally. Did you do a repair installation maybe?
