If you are trying to start over and turn your computer back to the factory installed state try rebooting and just as you see the HP logo screen start pressing the F10 key. Before you do this, if you have anything on the computer that you want saved, back it up somewhere because you will lose everything. If your HP has the recovery partition you were most likely never shipped a recovery disk.
