OMG, Where have you been, the whole point of this is the use of microwave energy rather than elements in a tankless or storage tank water heater. Wanderport and the engineering firm are in the process of hopefully proving their technology is more efficient.

If you are going to throw out information on WDRP let's try to make it as accurate as possible. Please correct any statement that I have made with fact and that will be totally acceptable.

1. Roberts lighting invention is not part of Wanderport. He did not accept the Dragon Dens Offer and made a deal with a private investor.

2. The company in China they visited for the manufacturing of the Magnetron did have a microwave water heater prototype which has since been abandoned by the company.(check IBOX)WDRP has stated in the past they will not have one company make all the critical components.

3. With the patents submitted, this may be the only microwave water heater of it's kind that is currently being engineered. I discussed this with Dave Meyer of UMC the American Distributor and he knows of nothing else in the market like this. He has over 40 years experience in the water heater industry.

4. Wanderport does not have any investment in LED lighting, currently or in the past.

5. Where is the skepticism? From what I am reading on this board I don't get that, however lets cover the existence of other tankless water heaters: I have a Rennai gas tankless that I installed, it needs to be vented, when you combine the cost of the unit and the venting cost you are looking at a homeowner install cost of over $1,500 depending on how far you have to vent, electrical etc. (That does not include professional install cost). Then you have an assorted array of electric water heaters, most require wiring changes etc. All of which will not be as efficient as the microwave heater. The concept of the WDRP model water heater is to provide a more efficient and green product. I believe this will be accomplished and will provide shareholders of this company a huge return on their investment. All you plumbers and electricians out their know this can be a game changer in the water heating industry. I believe these units can capture a niche in the market and be explosive, so many different applications for use.
