Gas is not sold by the cubic foot, or at least not by me. It is sold by mmbtu. If they have 1400-1500 btu gas (as I did) then it's worth 1.4-1.5 times what a cf is.

I think gas over there is worth a lot more than 4 bucks.

The price of natural gas in Europe is more like in the $9 range. North American prices usually are about half ! One would expect the ng prices in the US to go up particularly when they begin exporting LNG.
