“There will be a Quantum Materials Website, but I can't predict when we will put it up...it will correspond to a major event...now looking like first quarter next year”

My guess is that the event is, & will happen after the share price is up sufficiently as to be listed on a major exchange such as the Nasdaq or American. Solterra will be spunoff, and have it's own ticker as will Quantum. We will all be proud shareholders of two seperate entities.

Specvestor...you're welcome. I'd agree with your "When", not "If" supposition.
As far as what event is being implied...your guess is as good as mine. I'm at a complete loss as to what that might be. Aside from the company issues [patents, Solterra spin-off, FINRA etc.], I'm pretty sure it involves 'Solar' & the 'Saudis', although in what capacity I know not. Looking at other solar companies start-up, it seems that a 'proof of concept', 'certification' &/or a 'pilot facility' test-run is a pre-requisite to any sales but I haven't been able to find any such events having taken place (& I've looked...hard). The only way I can think that they might bypass these time-consuming procedures is in some kind of collaboration with a pre-existing solar enterprise...some sort of hybrid additive perhaps ? But, this is all conjecture on my part...in reality, I admittedly, have no idea....wish I did.

He also refers back to a prior statement about expecting to announce 'several' events that were expected to transpire by now. Such is the business world...stuff happens...to be expected IMO.

The "things move much slower than expected especially when dealing with other countries" part of his remarks, I believe refers to some unknown event or transaction in Saudi Arabia (or possibly Bahrain). Those are the only foreign countries that I'm aware they've had any dealings with directly. I doubt he's talking about Japan, I suspect the JETRO connection is aimed at potential B2B collaborations.

In the "we have several other opportunities but it is important that we deliver what we set out to do first" part of his response, I believe he was referring to my suggestion that networking the 'Printed Electronics' apps of TQD's at the upcoming PE/PV2010 conference might be a good idea, in addition to Dr.Jabbours presentation, aimed singularly at the 'Solar' apps. Dr.Bob was apparently saying that they don't want to spread themselves too thin....a prudent approach...'a man's got to know his limitations' as Clint Eastwood would say. Their main focus is on 'Solar' for now, knowing full-well that generating revenues (first) opens the door to expansion in other sectors later.

That's the way 'I' see it anyway...
