Now go to Radio Shack or any computer store and get yourself a couple cans of compressed air. It's cheaper if you buy a case. Clean that thing out once a month and you won't hear the noise again.

By keeping it clean if it does start to make noise, you can rule out dust build up as one of the causes and move on to the next possible cause. If you maintain it and keep it clean, the next time you hear it get noisy will most likely mean it's time to replace the HD. But that's another day, and another problem yet to be known!!
