Hell I thought that was public knowledge! Ok... well start reading posts here and you will see who was involved. I was a newbie back then and had no idea what to believe at the time. The question you have to ask yourself...was it rumor to try to run the stock up or was there really a deal that E said no to? I don't know if E made the right decision or not. I don't know if that is how retail works these days or not but it is a concern for me. Hopefully Lowes will figure out how great WC is and NOT put restrictions on it. Remember TJG went on to work for WNBD and made the big score of Spartan stores so I would think he may have had a different perspective than us regular traders.
