Canada has already shown the footprint and with WC established with many national accounts, there is just no room for exclusivity imo. There is room for 'first mover' position and thus get in as early adopter and head of the line in 'advertising' etc. (for a national account that could be significant).
I hadn't read that old post before (Apr 2008) but I do find this part very consistent to whom he has been since I've been around Feb 2009.
Eric put a end to it by being the up front and honest CEO that he is...he told investors that this was not an over night success company, but a company that was growing..that it would be a period of time before the product was in all of HD Canada and that any speculation of Winning Colours coming to Home Depot USA was just that speculation. He told investors that there was work to do and that the product would arrive in the US on a well scheduled plan and that it was still a ways off.
I would encourage you to go back and read all of the PR from Oct 06 thru Nov of 07..you will get an insight into our CEO that few if any Pink Sheet CEO have...he truly is a CEO that cares for the investors of this company...he is a straight shooter and will tell the public what is going on...good or bad.
