#97766 RE: laranger #97761

There is nothing exceptional about the system that is being followed. The Tribunal reaches a decision, it is sent to the International Arbitration Court to be tweaked for any legal or technical errors and then it is released to the parties. We were told this several weeks ago. I have no idea where the opinion has arisen that an appeal by NOK is inevitable. They have to have a legal basis upon which to appeal and that basis is a very difficult standard. The Tribunal has probably seen both sides as tough hombres to deal with. One of those arbitrators was appointed as NOK's choice, one was appointed by IDCC. Both of those people were schooled as to what to expect. The members of the Tribunal want to do more of this work. They aren't going to screw up this opinion and allow themselves to be overturned on appeal.
