How so very right you are. This is not the time for a crook to decide to break securities laws. Much has changed in the last three years. The DOJ is going after these securities laws violators with an iron fist. EIGH has willfully violated securities laws over and over again. The lies and deception perped on investors are very obvious to anyone who is not deaf dumb and blind. Some of the prosecutions that used to only see a fine levied for similar offenses in the past are now seeing sentences recommended by prosecutors of up to 80 years or more.
Let's not confuse a violation with a WILLFUL violation... there's a significant difference. Did the SEC find a violation? Yes. Is it willful? Well, that's what we're about to find out.
Willful violation for the intent of orchestrating a pump and dump is different than announcing a deal as finalized before it goes through.
My guess is, and this is JUST A GUESS, that the acquisition was nixed after EIGH cancelled the dividend.
We'll let the SEC and the company sort it all out....
