I'll never understand these bankruptcy filings.

Does Cardona have to pay past debt or is everything forgiven? Credit cards, car loans, etc...

Next door neighbor filed Chapter 13 so he could hold onto his house and not have to immediatley pay off $30K in credit card debt. What a wonderful system we have.
