To footballref: I stand by what I stated. There WILL be a portion of the confirmation hearing that will be devoted to competing valuations. As for Solomon, he will step off on what he gave to SG, who, in turn, "presented" it to Rosen (as per SG's June billing statement). He's now had an additional 3 months to fine tune it. That body of work will be the major obstacle that Blackstone will have to surmount. If it can't be done (easily), then it stands to reason that the parties would draw closer to the notion of arriving at a settlement.
