If WMI emerges from BK as a reorganized company the most likely avenue of dealing with common shares is to exchange the old for the new. When common shares are preserved in a Chap 11 proceeding they are most often exchanged for shares in the reorganized company.

It is probably too early for this but I have been assuming that assets will be greater than liabilities and have been trying to anticipate WMI's follow up stategy. I'm also assuming WMI current BOD will ty to screw me out of as much money as it can which is why the issue of an EC influenced BOD is of paramount importance.
