That's why I couldn't find the article again. They put it up on Facebook then I guess decided to send it out to email subscribers so deleted it from Facebook. NP.
Just reading this article, is the building leased or owned?
CBA employs 36 in a 17,000-sq.-ft. (1,580-sq.-m.) leased facility, which Schissler says is large enough
Disregard, found the ans. Cord Blood America, Inc. (OTC:CBAI) (BULLETIN BOARD: CBAI) , one of the largest umbilical cord blood stem cell preservation companies (http://www.cordblood-america.com/) focused on bringing the life saving potential of stem cells to families nationwide and internationally, said today it has signed a lease for a 17,000 square foot building in Las Vegas, Nevada, for a state-of-the-art laboratory for the storage of multiple stem cell products including umbilical cord blood stem cells.
Article was awesome. Thanks. IMO here is the most important part.
I had to think about the meaning of medical tourism and concluded that the Nevada cancer center partnering with a cord cell bank could create a "one stop shopping" situation for patients seeking cancer treatment. Still can't figure out how that would all work if the bank facility remained private instead of a public or a combined bank. Anyway interesting stuff. Too soon to draw any conclusions IMO
