The patent is totally different from what you are imagining.
btw, sending text messages to consumers are very very very easy things to do...Companies don't need Go800 service to send txt messages to consumers. A lot of companies already use text messaging to connect with their consumers... ever looked at the signs on store fronts that tells you to text to some number? e.g. EXP30 to EXPRES (397737) (this is for express fashion for example) Also consumers can sign up to receive text message on websites...and companies can just send mass text messaging..
The patent is junk IMO.. Look for my new post in like 15 min about that..
Xtify, the ones who made the GO800 app have the ability to do return sms text messaging and Geo Location.
Add the real-time data Worldlink patent provides GO800 along with Xtify will make GO800 unmatched in what it is capable of doing. Just need the clients to justify activating those advanced features, simple process of upgrading/revising current GO800 app. And of coarse finalize this deal with Worldlink.
