Your right, you can't get new buyers without volume.
Buying a few thousand shares at EOD helps the price per share but does nothing for volume.
Volatility generates new volume and new buyers.

Please tell me how buy and hold is going to generate volume or new buyers.

All that being said: I have no problem with people buying and holding if that is their comfort zone, just stop complaining when the price doesn't move because they're not doing anything to make it move.

All the complaining here about being stuck with a high average is proof that buying and holding does not work TRADE IT and make some money, hold it and cry about it, everyone has a choice to make just stop complaining and DO SOMETHING !!!!!!!!
