I'm afraid it is too late.

The judge in the bankruptcy hearing made a statement at the end of the day that if the
parties do not make any deal tonight he will render a bankruptcy judgment on the bench
tomorrow morning.

A judgment has also been rendered by the Superior Court in Montreal in the "class action"
from 14 former employees defended by the Normes du Travail for all unpaid salaries at
ECT Inc. (EFFC). A provision of this judgment is an asset freeze on all of ECT's intellectual
property.

When the judge in the bankruptcy hearing learns that tomorrow, there is little doubt
about the outcome, ECT is dead and the shareholders will be wiped out.

BF, I think what you are calling for is... Impossible. It's just to late at this point. My feeling is the judge will declare ECT and company bankrupt.

Even if this would stay alive (it won't happen), I don't think any smart or sophisticated investor would touch this with a 10 foot pole. Why? Numerous lawsuits and judgments against ECT, fraud committed by Huppe, the Canadian SEC sniffing around, less than trustworthy and competent board members, etc...

To me, this ECT shell has to die and the technology sold, clean and free of any litigation in order to have a chance at being developed and commercialized.

That being said, I realize many will lose if this happens. On the other hand, if status quo prevails, nothing happens also! The past year's actions of the ECT Friends tends to demonstrate the results of status quo. Either way, everyone loses.

Court has apparently adjourned, we'll know which way this saga goes tomorrow. Good night (on the east coast!)
