Martinelli is in Asia for ten days. I have no idea where the trades originate. I do know, as confirmed by Janet, that it is impossible to know or track who is buying. Whomever it is, they obviously are looking at the investment positively and that is the most important thing of all.
More I think of it, more I become sure that the visit made by coreean last summer has something to do with those Europeean trades.
The coreeans visit was to convince them of all the benefits relied to Panama developpment (mining territories). Seeing over 30M shares traded in a short time makes me sure its a major player. Is it an hostile takeover, an agreement with BOD... I really think the meeting in November will give us a big part of that clue ! I'm not a detective but I'm not a fool too !
That would also give me the answer why BOD wants to Spin off PDI and then concentrate their activities to infrastructure.
