#8154 RE: pauly3 #8153

The next two weeks should be interesting. let's get the word out about the vote and CBIS. i like that we haven't seen a pumping circus show here, this things will do fine without $10 BS calls. we all know it can touch $1 because it has twice already. the O/S was about 30% smaller than, but the hype is gonna be a little bit bigger now.

but those who don't know why this is such a legitimate stock to own long term need to find out what it is they are trying to get through FDA trial in the long run. There is no valid medical reason for not approving medical marijuana based on the FDA's own rules. IT is one of the safest substances known to man.

The real trick for a company seeking FDA approval is safety and efficacy. Al ot of people have heard that marijuana works, but most don't know why. and when you understand the why, you understand that the system in our body that the cannabis plant targets is what really controls every system in our body (reproductive, endocrine, cardio, etc.).

This system is called the "ENDOCANNABINOID SYSTEM". It was discovered only 20 years ago. This system regulates, like a thermostat, all of the other controls and systems in our body, endocannabinoid receptors are everywhere, even in your bones.

The medicine that has been created thus far has one major problem, side effects. My personal opinion is the following. Imagine if you are trying to stop a bicycle, would you stick your hands on the wheels to stop the tires? You could and most of the time stop the wheels, but the side effects are your hands are bleeding and maybe broken. Say instead you used the breaks to stop the tires...no side effects.

So my theory is that they have been developing pharmaceutical drugs that treat symptoms of disease but have always targeted the system, not the system that controls the systems. Hope this is clear, it is my theory based on reading many a study on how this system really works.

And the reason that pharmaceutical companies have failed to produce an effective synthetic cannabinoid drug is that they can't duplicate the results from the massive complexity of the plant. Too many side effects. In fact Rimonabnt was taken off the market in Europe because of the suicide side effects. They can't duplicate the complexity in the plant, 500 or so different compounds are hard to synthesize.

And this is why what they are doing passes the safety and efficacy hurdles. They basically are targeting the system that controls all of the others. This is the future of medicine.
