That video that ICE posted with the doctor who prescribes marijuana for a host of ailments, made such an excellent point and one that resonates for me which is this:
He is able to prescribe one drug (weed) to asssit cancer patients who are suffering from five different medical problems, including such things as inflamation, pain and depression, whereas if he did not have weed to prescribe, then he would have to prescribe five different pharma meds each with its own set of side effects, not to mention the increased costs to insurance companies.
Once the legalities of MMJ are squared away, we will own the pharmas! Exactly the reason why they are so deathly fearful of the current schedule classification of marijuana shifting to one that allows clinical experimentation of the therapeutic efficacy of this fascinating substance. This shift is already well under way.
