That makes far more sense then a one time dividend. And everyone here has to realize one thing. With EIGH being the parent company of monks den, common sense says they will do everything in their power to cause the shorts to cover. It sure wouldn't look good for the company that owns the den to have their stock controlled by shorters.

I think we all need to just wait and see what the company does next...there is a lot of specualtion here...all we know for sure is that they intend to buy back shares and that some shareholders have agreed to have shares retired.

Jason, where did you hear this? PM me if you can.

It has been my opinion that if this company is a scam, or if something was done wrong, Monk was most likely caught off guard as well. My reasoning is pretty simple: as I have had issues with understanding EIGH that don't completely add up for me (instincts which I listened too before I lost a shit load of money... ugh....) Monk's company DOES add up. The building up of it, the PNTV people being involved, the launching of the website, etc., adds up to a real company with real people who have actually attended these Monkinars and who are almost overwhelmingly happy with the results. It's hard for me to believe that just as his company is hitting an inflection point with the launch of the new site, trading platform, uber classes, etc. that he would risk all of that for such a silly scheme.

That's why I believe he was most likely a bit pissed as well, as this does hurt his rep, which he has obviously worked hard to build. So, yeah, Monk being a scammer doesn't add up for me at all. EIGH... I don't know....

I could be wrong about any and all of those assumptions, but that's my take on it.
