But they knew the rules in the UK, when it started in June.

They could have provided for a loss in the June or September quarters, or part in each quarter.

Good point..but by the same token.. Ronnie's numbers did not include any "true up" by Option..which was licensed after the upgraded guidance..and not even included in J. Point's later presentation..to her credit , I might add..




Ron: Although the UK lawsuit was filed in June, It was not until December 8, that the court ruled against IDCC and ordered them to pay Nokia's cost estimated at $200,000. This would be an additional 4th quarter charge probably not included in prior guidance
