True. A good friend of mine who trades penny stocks often calls me up after he has bought and asks me to look at the stock. He knows that if it is a scam that I will start exposing it without regard to the fact that he has a position in it and he smiles and takes his lumps when this happens. I found the THRR and the BTDG scams through him, for example.
But he tells me that if he shows me a stock and I do not bash it (or maybe even buy it which I do on occasion if I think it looks good) that it makes him feel safer to hold the stock overnight or longer. LOL It seems to work OK for him and for me as well since once in a while I find a good stock to trade based on his alerts.
I do not just bash stocks although a lot of people seem to think that is the case. Problem is, when I see illegal activity taking place, I feel it is a civic duty to try to stop it. It is nothing personal against those that own the scam. I just believe that everyone has the right to know that crooks are on the loose
