I too believe a great injustice was done against WAMU shareholders. If only that justice would prevail in the end would I then believe the shareholders, all classes, would receive a just settlement. Justice seldoms prevails when it comes to Wall St greed and our government manipulation in protecting Wall St. Hope I am wrong. So many bailouts were enacted after the WAMU seizure. WAMU got taken out to the yard and shot. Anger!...? Anger and rage don't begin to describe the feelings of injustice perpetrated against so many innocent and common shareholders. It has always been the commoner who has had to shoulder the weight of the wrongs committed by those who pull the strings. To believe that this time will be different is noble but unrealistic, imo.
