Hi folks! I am fairly new to trading and just trying to come up to speed. Can someone tell me how these trades occur outside the normal trading hours? I always seem to see some up to 5 minutes before the market opens and many after the market closes. I thought the market opened when the bell rang at 9:30 AM and closed when it rang again at 4PM and it was a strict window. Thanks in advance for your help!

Thanks for clarification on the AH trading as I was one of the posters to bring the subject up last night...

As far as GTEL , I bought it last week but for an avg. price of .34 - I'm obviously not worried - can't wait for both QBID AND GTEL to explode!!!
