SEBASS, Rocky... my thought on the matter is this: I would think the BIG guys are looking at this technology with "jaundice" eyes thinking that if GTEL can pull it off, rather than lose millions, they will simply "pay-off" GTEL to NOT go foward with the public broadband use. Then, GTEL could simply adapt the program for NASA or the Military.
You think Huff already knows this and has a plan B?
All I'm doing is trying to speculate on how little ole GTEL fits into the BIG picture.
As an aside, go to the below and click on "view the demo" under "WiMax Overview" on the right in blue. A very simple explanation of their plans. Hard for me to believe that Intel is even thinking of abandoning its business plan worldwide should the stratellite technology ever be a threat!
