What I know for sure is each industry have a bit different meaning on each task. Without looking at the description, it is quite strange to debate on choice of words, not the message.
From my line of works, I ran into some silly guys who know nothing about technical/project and all they do is word smithing. Even though I am in that role to QC my staff's work at the moment, I am still more into the message than word smithing...
