I read the article about the life saving cord blood stem cell transplant but can't find it right now. If you sent that along with the fact that this is Sickle Cell Awareness month, I'm sure they would come out with something. Great point. But you have a lot of them.

Is the statement about Sickle Cell below really true? I haven't heard that. Link?

If a child is born free of SCD/Thalassemia but a sibling or parent has the disease then that stored cord blood can be transplanted into the sick family member curing them of SCD/Thalassemia with reduced risks of rejection
