The well gains a commercial oil & gas flow! This reservoir has to be big to show commercial oil & Gas flow on the first hole drilled and deepwater has to have a large reservoir to become commercial! This is good news! Usually support wells have to be drilled to prove commerciality and with deepwater drilling it has to be large enough reservoir for it to become economically commercial!

Operations in JDZ Block 2

ERHC's consortium partner Sinopec Corp. is the operator in JDZ Block 2. In August 2009, Sinopec commenced exploratory drilling of the Bomu-1 well, which was completed in early October 2009. The well was drilled to a total depth of 3,580 meters. Pre-drill, 13 individual sands were targeted and eight sands were found to contain biogenic methane gas. Analysis of drilling data is ongoing. The NSAI report estimated ERHC's unrisked prospective resources in JDZ Block 2 totaled 77 million barrels of oil and 93.9 billion cubic feet of natural gas (P50). The NSAI report estimated ERHC risked prospective resources in JDZ Block 2 totaled 38.3 million barrels of oil and 47.9 billion cubic feet of natural gas (P50).

ERHC has commercial

Great find krom. Now print it out and tape it to the wall inside your elevator and keep riding until you get the price back up to .44 so I can get out of this thing. Call Mark for help if necessary.

Krom, remember who wrote this on June 16th 2009?:

The rest of the Erhc board just confirmed with what I confirmed on the Sedco 702...now will they discover what I have about BOMU?!? All the circumstantial evidence is there that BOMU will have OIL OIL OIL OIL. Lots of it.

Here's the circumstantial evidence:

1) Only one hole will be drilled in BOMU and that's it. That's all that's needed. Think about that one.

2) Sinopec is spending lots of cash not only to secure the Sedco 702 for drilling, but also to be able to use it despite Shell's contract on it...which also costs some big bucks, to the tune of $350k a day for drilling plus $10 million a month for the contract stipulations. Of course this is peanuts compared to what it will pay for Addax.

3) The SEDCO KNOWS WHERE TO DRILL on the prospect. I mean the exact spot, thanks to its amazing technology.

4) Finally and most importantly, KROM knows. LOL. Actually the majors, like Sinopec have some serious technology and some serious knowledge about what's down there, hence the need to drill only one hole to confirm...and KROM KNOWS!!!!!!!!

This thing is so going to $1 this week, it's not even funny.

Good find Krom, prayers are starting to be answered, there must be many of us turning to prayer. One answer of many to come.

btw Where is Sahalin?

In 2009, one of our main activity is on BOMU-1 well in JDZ-2 Block, Nigeria, including drilling-geology designing, engineering designing, analysis-while-drilling and researching on post-drilling reserve appraisal. The well gains a commercial oil & gas flow. It was the first breakthrough in oil and gas exploration in SINOPEC’S oversea deep water drilling operation.

Another is the “Sahalin” project, it gains progress as well. After re-interpretate the Veni 3-D Seismic Data, the well location of the North Veni-3 Well was proposed and thus lays a foundation of a grand discovery of oil & gas. Five research project such as “the 3D Seismic Data acquisition scheme and technical designing of Australia NT/P76 Block” have also been successfully fulfilled which made the follow-up favorable trap evaluation more reasonable.

Combine this tidbit with Prazeres statement that "oil and gas were found in expected quantities" and we can conclude ERHC has around 336M (NSAI) barrels of proven. Prazeres knew it was commercial back in December, and you can bet that worthless CEO of ERHC did too!

Krom,....."commercial oil & gas flow"

Hope the descriptive word "commercial" describes the oil as to how much oil may be in the prospect, and not describing the word "flow". Some oilmen can chime in on this, but maybe they are saying drilling tests have revealed the flow to have a porosity of 25% or better.

Good find and hope I'm wrong.

Block 2 news is very inviting. ERHC has alredy told us that B-4 has ongoing work to integrate into a potential area-wide development. The following from ERHC's filings:

Block 2
"No final determination has been made by Sinopec regarding commerciality."

Block 3
"No determination has been made yet regarding commerciality."

Block 4
"This information is preliminary and work is ongoing to integrate a potential area-wide development."

That said...the news from Sinopec about B2 adds to our dollar value.

Recall the highly specialized technical team that assisted Dan Gralla in picking out our EEZ blocks and after ERHC spilled this information they refused (and continue to do so) to tell their shareholders WHO this team was? Interesting to me that they have delayed the EEZ bid round for a European and Asian company (thanks AChotfries for that info).

With Sinopec and now Total involved as operators in the JDZ....it is exciting to think about this (IMO) consortium working in Sao Tomes EEZ as well. Now where is the co headquartered that is footing the majority of the deep water port in Sao Tome???

First we have our VP of Corporate Development getting caught working on his next career before being released from his full time job with ERHC.....then we have our co officers working on a month to month basis for ERHC (and the co working hard to cover this fact). This is all after putting Leslie Blair (read: Addax/Sinopec) on our BOD. BTW, it would appear DK has been busy elsewhere too.....(I looked at his website after noting he was taking much longer than usual to respond to shareholder questions).

The dots continue to grow. Speaking of growing....it would "appear" that the only thing the CEO of this company was EVER capable of growing was:

As the real news (remember....these well were classified as tight wells) begins to surface:

"OKI EAST-1X is classified as “Tight” well, as all wells in JDZ Blocks, and all information regarding the well is strictly confidential and should not be shared without the express written
consent of JDZ Exploration Manager."

the real reason for the 6 month extension will appear IMHO. Kinda funny....because I think as the real reason appears....ERHC will disappear altogether or, at a minimum, be under a new management.

I think things are really looking positive and the dots will be spelled out for all to see via:

Krom, I think everyone saw it or should have, it was there for months. These Chinese checker games are getting old. Anyway you spin or convert the words its clear BOMU was a nice surprise.
Its time for real results and real tangible news that a investor can write home about. Whats the bottom line on the legal agreements you found? Can we get an attorneys opinion here?
