It all boils down to this...the FDIC and politicians in DC are protecting the hedge funds that illegally took down WAMU with NSS.

The huge NSS position is the giant elephant in the room.

They have to wipe out equity or the hedge funds (aka Chase and Goldman) will be crushed.
