Read Idcc response to the Forbes article dated 1/6/04. It states that " equipment manufacturers who build products to current and future wireless standards cannot design or build around idcc essential patented inventions and must take a license from us" Unless you think Idcc has no essential patents and is lying through their teeth, this is a very powerful statement. They didn't state we belive they must license. They empathetically state they must license. To me that is good enough.
