Unfortunatly buyers tomorrow can't time travel and buy at .14, lol. My response was based on current prices. Yes, at .14 versus $31 for preferreds, commons were a better deal. At .24 - I'm not so sure based on the absolute proirity of preferreds over commons.

Go back in time when you bought the U's @.14 then the P's were only $5.00 PPS so then your $3200 investment would now be:

23000 U's and at $8.00 minus your $3200.00 gives $180,800

Now lets do the same for the P's at that time frame

$3200/$5 = 640 P's

640 * $1000 minus $3200 = $636800 which way out performs the U's
