Yeah, you're probably correct there. The SEC though won't have access to that stuff until after a company responds to a subpoena or federal agents raid their office(s). The former can take some time. It might be tough raiding virtual offices.
My guess is the feds started asking questions and nosing around when we saw the fluff PRs suddenly stop.
