Bo....I am surprised that there is not massive complaining by shareholders that still own pre-split shares. Unless their shares have not been subtracted yet they must be very upset that the stock split but the share price has not been adjusted yet.

Do you think it is possible that pre-split holders have not had their shares subtracted yet and this is why the stock has not been adjusted ?? If that is the case, then this has GIGANTIC upside potential from here as you have been suggesting. I agree with what you have said so far and I think the T/A will confirm this.

Bo, A lot of ideas here. First I believe ones own co. can issue shares in their stock as being there own t/s. 2ndly the reason they probably hit 4 on the ask (don't know what the bid was at the time) was probably to capture those limit sells somewhere in between the first 30 minutes of trading. The first 30 to 45 minutes most volatile as mm's make the days market.
Finally what is interesting ia this weeks volume trading from the day the r/s was to take place to Fridays close. Man talk about a lot of volume and now shorted shares. Also we must remember that the total volume "should" equal pretty close to "sells & buys" in the real world.
Yes Spring fever is in the air, though I think the Midwest has had a Spring type Winter for the last 2o yr.s or so. O.T. here... I heard on the news yesterday that they have a health advisory out for smog type air there due to unseasonably warm weather. Sioux Falls, So. Dak was 61 degrees yesterday while it should of been around 10 below zero. How strange! Our high in So. Cal was 67. Really crazy.

GLKCE: BO I too called the T/S he was postitive the o/s is 1,158,209. My next question was A/S it is 500 mil. So sure they could release more shares but why would they right now? It is very obvious they have shorty by the you know what. This is very similar to CMKX but without the complexity!

The way I look at this company it was very smart at this point to do the R/S. They apparently have plenty of cash and a business model.

If this were my company right now no way in the world would I be diluting anything! Think about it make shorty pay and pay big.

I am like you Bo, if I am missing something other than a huge opportunity here I sure would like to have someone explain it to me.

Bo...GLKCE

Something you might ask the company or their TA....

....was there notification made through the proper channels by the company/TA of the r/s?

I think notification was made (traders at ihub were aware of the r/s).

The reason I am suggesting you ask this question...

When I telephoned etrade about GLKCE...the reason I called them was because it wasn't possible to buy on line...they had a message tag saying something to the effect..."transactions in this security cannot be placed on line...you will need to call an etrade customer service representative"...(the exact wording of the message displayed by etrade was copied to this board in a post by Drillbit).

I posted on Friday what I was told by the etrade customer service rep (he called the trading desk...he was told the stock was under investigation (investigation was the word he used). I did ask why it was being investigated?...he didn't have an answer.

I also mentioned to him they had just executed a r/s. He said possibly a notification by the TA of the r/s had not been made (I assume he was referring to a notification to the market makers...I didn't ask...and this was only a speculating comment on his part (I think).

Anyway...it's obvious the ball was dropped by somebody...and right now I think it was the MMs and not the company/TA. It will be interesting to see how this is resolved.

I wasn't able to buy shares (right now all of my on line accounts are with etrade).

If I had been able to buy...I would be holding onto some shares just to see how it plays out.

GLKCE ... so it appears ...

the entire OS turned over approximately 21 times on Friday given the 22+ million volume. I think there's more going on here than we can see. Those that bought the close Friday are probably going to be happy monday. glta.
