I don't recall the source, so I may be wrong here, but I seem to recall a fully burdened COGS figure in the $100 range. We don't know the cost of component parts, or how they are amortizing tooling for the housing, but it seems like labor costs would be pretty small. IF (big "if", I know) this is remotely accurate, I'd expect more units/day than 100-250; particularly if they use multiple assembly facilities.

If a person can assemble three in an hour, that's 21 units per person in a seven hour day. If the only constraint is labor, there's no reason they couldn't build as many as they need, just by adding people.

Unfortunately, component parts become a constraint at some point, and if the current financial challenges we believe are true, money becomes the ultimate constraint.

I definately agree with Searcher. Robotics appear extremely unlikely and IMO, unnecessary.
