Hy as promised ,some new insight concerning Italy
Well,Italy ,of course among other countries,have BIG problems with the storage of nuclear waste.
Some storage devices are quite old,and as such pose multiple threats ,like leakage,or other security issues.
So the government stepped in,and initially a site to dig some wells in the ground was found in the south of Italy,but there were HUGE protests from the people living there,that is environmental issues.
These protests against the site were so massive that the government of Mr.Berlusconi was forced to withdraw from the project at the end ofdec.2003,calling to establish a commitee
to find another site for the huuuuge nuclear waste within a year.
That is NOW that they have to find a new site...Fortunately they found help..some theory IMO,food for thought skoool
