Even if a PR is issued stating that the R/S provisions apply for shareholders on record as on Aug 4, it is still an injustice, due to the following reasons:-
1. All shareholders will be treated as having a minimum of 10 mil shares prior to consolidation. This involves giving away free shares to some of the shareholders at the cost of the other shareholders. SYMW should also come out with statistics about how many share holders have less than 10 mil as on Aug 4th, how many shares are proposed to be given free and on whose account.
2. If the R/S were to be 1 for 1000 or 1 for 10,000, the damage would have been lesser. Now, with 1 to 100000 R/S, and giving away 10 mil shares to each shareholder, we are hit on two counts.
a. Dwindling of the number of shares currently owned.
b. Distribution of free shares to some, which causes further reduction in the share price.
