RR, I hope that you are right in your assumption.
However you are young and full of enthusiasm regarding the law, it unfortunately doesn't always work in the best interest.

I commend your spirit as to the truth and law and we do need more of YOU in the legal system and not just the "Weil/Alvarez et al" to milk/siphon off handsomely due to this process!
Guess we shall see what's in store for us.

RR I agree with your view on the DOJ. Although, I am viewing this from a political perspective. The O'Bama administration has positioned the big banks as the primary culprits in the financial meltdown. They have lost almost every part of the political spectrum in this country except their hardcore left-wing base. The general consensus is that they must maintain that base and find a way to appeal to moderates, if they have any chance in November of holding the Senate. They could fullfill both of those needs by strongly supporting the common shareholders against the abusive bankers. Plus, this happened on Bush's watch and they would love to reinforce their mantra that everything is Bush's fault. One last point is that, if the case for prosecution of JPMC/FDIC is there and they don't move on it, that may be the final straw for them---and they can't take that chance.
