1260, Wave's automaker customer (a Big-3) is buying 70k Dell laptops over the next three years. That much we know.

Are we sure GM uses HP PCs? The GM news rooster1/reach567 found is for an HP Enterprise Services contract for infrastructure services, not selling PCs. Don't think just because HP Enterprise Services has been supporting GM that it has to be HP PCs. HP Enterprise Services can support any customer. It doesn't matter whose PCs they use.

And before HP acquired EDS and their enterprise services division became known as HP Enterprise Services, HP was already in the enterprise services business. They have long been ahead of Dell is this respect. Dell though acquired Perot's subsequent company, so they are now gaining in the enterprise services business.
