Assuming GM is Wave's automaker customer, that would mean GM is a Dell PC customer, not an HP PC customer. A Dell PCs/HP Services environment, nothing unusual about that.
I suppose the automaker customer could be Ford or Chrysler...it's been publicly stated by Wave it's one of the Big Three, although I believe only GM and Ford have enough employees to have a three year 70k laptop refresh (the Dell contract Wave is supplying). GM and Ford each have over 200k employees globally, Chrysler far less.
